The 510 glove includes a 1/8″ thick gel pad that essentially puts a shock absorbing cushion between the handlebars and palms. Besides the added benefit of the cushion, the rubberized grip puts a non-slip barrier between sweaty palms and handlebars, which can be a dangerous combination. This ensures that the rider has maximum control around every turn and obstacle with less chances for mishaps.
