Commercial Quality Rubber Hex Dumbbell Sets – Commercial environments such as commercial gyms, clubs, CrossFit boxes, etc. require dumbbells that are constructed to be safe and not fall apart even if dropped. Heavy dumbbells, like our heavy York 125 lb. rubber hex dumbbells, create a tremendous amount of impact when dropped. If the inner design of your dumbbells is not constructed to handle impact of this nature, which is common in commercial environments, not only is your investment at risk but so is the safety of your members. Unlike some dumbbell manufacturers that simply “glue” the rubber hex head onto the chrome handle shaft, York Barbell fine threads the inside head of the dumbbell and the dumbbell shaft and torques them both together creating a durable and permanent bond. This commercial rubber hexagonal dumbbell set design may cost a bit more in the beginning, but the benefits far outweigh the risks.

Each York Barbell RHX rubber encased dumbbell includes a thick coating of rubber that helps protect dumbbells, gym floors and other gym equipment from impact, scuffs and scratches. Each head is hexagonal in shape which keeps your dumbbells from rolling off your dumbbell bench or across the floor. Ergonomically shaped handles, or “contoured”, are shaped to fit the palm of your hand to better disburse the pressure while completing pushing or pulling exercises. Handle diameters start at 25mm for 2.5 lbs. to 17.5 lbs. and graduate to a beefy 35mm for sizes 20 to 125 lbs.
